I am extremely happy and proud to announce that, after almost 40 years of continued success performing landlord and tenant work for all of the Atco properties, we have created a new division, Essential Design + Build.

As Essential, we will continue to function as a turn-key general contractor and construction manager with architectural design capability. However, the expansion of our professional staff now allows us to offer interior design, decorating and Department of Buildings expediting services.

In addition, two members of our staff have recently received certification as LEED^® Accredited Professionals so we can now also steward your LEED^® projects and apply for available energy rebates and LEED^® credits on your behalf.

The most significant philosophical change from Atco Construction Company to Essential Design + Build is that we will now actively market our services directly to clients outside of the Atco portfolio.

I also want to assure you that although we are fully capable of handling any interior, commercial or residential project from conception through completion, we are also happy to take on even the smallest part of any project such as acting as a drywall subcontractor or providing simple space plans and feasibility studies.
